Feed Validators
As the title suggests, feed validators are online tools to validate / check your currently available feeds for errors, to ensure that it's error free and readable. Treat it like a spelling checker, which checks your feeds for any mistakes that might have unknowingly left unchecked.
Why a validator?
According to one of the leading online validators out there, FeedValidator.org, feed validators are meant to make it easier for you to produce RSS Feeds correctly, and save you some time doing laborous manual validations on your own.
Depending on the online validators that you choose, the coverage of level of checks might vary from one to another. For FeedValidator.org, its flexibility is indeed astounding, as it covers almost all versions of RSS, including RSS 0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. It also validates Atom feeds. To validate a feed, just enter your feed url into the proper field and click check, and you'll get the results of the validation. Depending on level of correctness of your feed, the results may vary.

- mod_syndication
- mod_content (content:encoded only)
