Poker Affiliates Guide to Blogging

As a poker affiliate, you should be harnessing the power of blogs to build your business. A blog is basically an online journal or diary that allows you to easily share your ideas, opinions, thoughts, reviews, recommendations, and anything else that you want others to read. Blogs are completely customizable and can be made to be unique based on your individual tastes and preferences.

Basically, a blog contains the following features:

Title - The title is the label that you give each post

Body- The body is the main content in your blog post

Trackback - Other sites can be linked back to your blog using the trackback feature

Permanent link - Each blog post that you publish will have it's own unique URL

Comments - Your blog readers will have the ability to comment on your blog posts through the commenting feature

When it comes to customizing your blog, a big advantage of blogs is that they're only made up of a few templates. Unlike other websites which are made up of many types of pages, a blog only has a few. This makes the customization process quick and easy.

If you're ready to start blogging, you can do so immediately by signing up at a free online blog service such as Blogger. Once you've become a member, you'll be able to begin posting immediately as well as browse other bloggers pages who are part of the community.

A lot of entrepreneurs are using blogs to build their businesses, and poker affiliates are no different. Promoting your poker business with blogs can become extremely lucrative.

If you're looking for a way to boost your poker affiliate income, take a good and hard look at blogging. Starting your own poker blog doesn't have to cost you a cent and you have nothing to lose by trying it out. Be aware however that the full benefits of blogging may not be realized overnight. It will take some time for your blog to gain popularity and build traffic levels, so be patient and don't expect immediate results.
