You might be wondering what's that orange box lingering around most of the websites today, with the word RSS on it, or with some satellite looking image with some radiowave coming out of it. That icon, most often than not, is a RSS icon.
RSS icon has evolved through times and as of today, it has been unanimously agreed that the most used RSS icon is the one provided by Firefox. Even Microsoft / IE agreed to use this icon to identify a RSS Feed.
Mostly everybody uses RSS Feeds in their website, and chances are, you want to display your RSS Feed icons in your website, either using the default ones or using a customized icons to suite your overall web appearance.
The good news is that a lot of websites out there offer such icons / buttons for free. Some even provide the source file for them, so that you can modify them, change its appearance, colour, etc.
There are no official rules saying that you need to use this and that particular icon to qualify as a RSS Feed, so by having that freedom of customizing your icons / buttons, you might make it more interesting and probably to some level, more attractive to attract your visitors' attention.
